B.S. (expected) University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, Biochemistry​

Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, Ryan began his undergraduate research in the Mehta lab in 2023. He is currently studying Biochemistry and working under Dr. Bidhan De and Dr. Jordan Quenneville to optimize the endosymbiotic relationship between cyanobacteria and yeast. Outside the lab, Ryan is a member of the Division I Men’s Gymnastics team at the University of Illinois. They are coming off a successful season in which we were crowned Big Ten Champions.
