Nicole Wandrey

Nicole is from Omaha, Nebraska and completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a biochemistry emphasis and German minor at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. While at UNK, Nicole conducted research in the lab of Dr. Allen Thomas, where she focused on the synthesis and evaluation of SNAT inhibitors as potential melatonin regulators. In November 2025, Nicole joined the Mehta lab. Outside of the lab, Nicole enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and crocheting.
