Anna is from Kalamazoo, Michigan and completed her Bachelor’s degree at Kalamazoo College (“K College”), where she majored in chemistry and minored in applied mathematics and biochemistry. While at K College, Anna conducted research under the guidance of Dr. Williams, where she optimized a synthetic route towards the antibacterial aqabamycin G. In November 2025, Anna joined the Mehta lab. Aside from research, Anna also enjoys playing tennis, thrifting, reading, and trying new things!
