Angela is from Opelousas, Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University where she majored in Biology and Chemistry. While at Southeastern, she worked in the lab of Prem Chanda. She joined the Mehta lab in Fall of 2021. In her free time, she likes to bingewatch tv shows and loves to do aerial fitness.
Lady Athena, Angela’s distinguished canine companion, has triumphantly completed the rigorous PetSmart Pet Training Program, thereby earning the prestigious Puppy Education Certificate. Through tireless effort and boundless curiosity, she has cultivated the social grace and wisdom required to thrive in the sophisticated world of modern dogs. Henceforth, she is now officially recognized as a respectable member of civilization.
